Long before the name Disa Foods appeared on any packaging, it lived in the hands and heart of one man — Mr. Wong(豆腐九), a devoted father of six from the historic town of Sungai Lembing, Pahang.

In the early days, Mr. Wong wasn’t chasing business success. He was chasing something deeper — a future for his children. With little capital but unshakable determination, he began making tofu and tempeh by hand using traditional methods and the freshest ingredients. Each block of tofu was pressed not just with care, but with the silent hope of giving his family a better life.

From the cool mist of Sungai Lembing’s mornings to the warmth of the kitchen stove, Mr. Wong worked tirelessly. His tofu was known to be exceptionally soft and pure, and his tempeh carried the aroma of home. He sold them in nearby towns, slowly building a loyal customer base — not just because the food was good, but because it was made with heart.

Over time, what began as a way to support six growing children turned into a legacy. The next generation — inspired by Mr. Wong’s values — took the business forward and gave it a new name: Disa Foods. A name that carries tradition into the future, committed to making natural, high-quality soy products for every Malaysian household.

Today, Disa Foods continues to grow, just as Mr. Wong intended — still rooted in family, honesty, and hard work.
